I can't really make much of a opinion of this game based on a cinematic but as long as the fights between Jedi and Sith aren't just replicates of knights fighting each other and dieing at a stupid high rate then I would say it would be pretty good. Also glad they dumped the old "GIANT FUCKING LIGHTSABER HILTS" that they where showing in early ass alpha stages, I mean for fucks sake the things where as large as their forearms. But that Sith dynamic entry was fucking awesome.

I can't wait for this dude, I've never really been a big fan of the movies, but I always like the games. With the exception of the Revenge Of The Sith, And The Empire Strikes Back. Those were the good movies.

I can't wait for this one to come out. And how can you put RotS in the same category as Empire? Yes the prequals were great movies and all, but they were also FUBAR because the Old Republics technolodgy appeared to be beyond that of the Galactic Empire's war machine, which everyone knows should be the other way around after close to 20 years of military expansion.

I'm not putting them in the same category. And it's fiction so pretty much all the logic in the world doesn't matter. The good guys always find a hole or something wrong because that's the Hollywood is. Noone wants to see the good guys fail. And the Old Republic thought things out and planned. The Empire just built a huge ass base and over looked a few things and that is why the Republic won.

Well if they had made the last three movies you would see that the good guys don't exactly win. Luke falls like his father before him, but is saved by his niece and nephew, but before he is saved he has revived the sith and their teachings thus reviving the old stalemate of the Sith Empire Vs. Jedi Order. The New Republic is constantly harried by the remnants of the Galactic Empires fleet which Skywalker eventually brings back together into a cohesive whole and forms the new Sith Empire. The end of the Star Wars Saga is a restoration of balance, not good triumphing over evil, or vice versa.

No I'm not talking about the whole series, I was talking about a specific point, and that would be why the Old Republics technology was better than the Empire.

ya i guess, the galactic empire never really had a cohesive threat posed to it untill the end of Empire when the rebellion trully started making tactical victories and all, as aposed to the centuries of conflict that the Old Republic had faced against an organized sith foe
