Alt+Tab = Crash........

This only happend's in DoD:S that when i alt+tab my game crash's.

This asking to see if anyone got this problem and fix it.

OS: Windows 7 Pro. (64-bit)

Try not to alt-tab. If you really really have to alt-tab a lot, think about playing with your game windowed, rather than fullscreen.

you can alt + tab at the menu screen but DoD won't let you alt + tab in an actual game.

its weird for me. When I alt-tab, sometimes the game will work again (i.e. I hear sound and can shoot and click stuff), the problem is is that the screen itself won't go full screen again. I'll just be looking at my desktop and hear the game normally. I shoot at My Computer!

But yea most of the time it works for me getting back into the game.

Im taking it as a win7 64 issue because all my other games alt-tab fine and this seems like a recent issue because a month back i could alt-tab a fullscreen game no problem. Just sucks because i dont like window mode and sometimes i have to alt-tab for other reasons. I hate the steam web browser =P. Oh well not going to kill me but still annoying.

if this helps abit im pretty sure that its a windows 7 pro 64 bit problem because mine is windows 7 family edition premium 64 bit and i can alt tab all the time except when i alt tab back in it takes a while to load

I have the same problem with my game. It used to work properly but suddenly it crashes now when I alt+tab and try to bring the game back up.

You should have the ability to alt-tab during game, usually though you may always have to do record 1 stop, just so the game isnt lagging. But yes excessive amounts of alt-tabbing will cause a game to crash.

But the Wierd think is that it only does it in DoD:S do.

Not in any ather games at all.

I believe I have a problem with this because I have one of the GPUs that DoD:s does not work well with at all. I can't even play DoD:s for 20 minutes because of crashes.

I am running a GTX 295, which is mentioned in the Medical Supply Office: Book of Knowledge that DoD:s is unstable with.

No, it's just a random DoD:S problem that happened after an update, no further posts are needed. just don't alt - tab.
