Laggy Server?

I don't know about everyone else but I've been getting a few comments about server being laggy with people skipping around a lot. If it is that way for people take a vote and let us know what you are noticing. Can it be fixed any time soon. I know I haven't been playing much lately because I've been having a huge problem with lag and poor registration. It may just be me and my connection so I wanted to get other peoples views as well.

I had a few issues last night with jumpiness and lag, so yeah I'd say something may be up.

The registry is a little off sometimes but i am told i jump around so it might just be me... but my shots do lag as i knifed someone and it took 4 seconds from my shovel hit in the back to him dying

the server has been jumpy and kinda laggy at times for me for awhile. The registry is also a bit off as evo said. Like i could be shooting someone in the head at times then it slightly lags and they kill me..kinda wierd.

I reset the servers last night, are we still choppy or is this about yesterday?

zahl reset the server today, but what about cleaning out the rank listing. ive been told there are over 38,000 ranked players. perhaps cleaning this out?

yeah it still is happening after a reset. Could it be the ranks added up? There are about 38,000 listed as a rank.

Yes the logs get deleted.

The one thing I forgot to check was the screenshot cache, there was over 9000 files in there. Server lag/chop is usually caused by these files sitting and collecting over time. You should delete them at least once a week and I forgot to do so. I'm deleting them as we speak but it'll take awhile.

Strange how it effects some and not others.

My ping hovers around 240 or so, and my game runs fine...

When i was on last night though i found 2 or 3 people with pings more than half mine jumping all over the place

with the exception of tonight, it has been really jumpy and laggy for me, so much that i could hardly play the game. I just logged off about 20 minutes ago and it was working fine, so if you did something Parker, it worked for me.

I played some yesterday and it seemed much better than before. That was just me though. Lets hear from the others who had issues as well.

After playing more tonight, 14 Aug, the lag seems to be fixed. The reg is better to a degree but still doesn't feel right. Not sure if there is something that is being missed or what not.

Idk, if you could up the server's refresh rate that would be awesome, but i'm getting better reg after deleting my autoexec.

Im not lagging at all, but i do have small one's once every while.
