Hey,

I was playing Day of Defeat, and Counterstrike Source and noticed that my sound was off....

What I mean by that is that every sound is working BUT my gunshots...

I can't hear gunshots but i hear the ping if it hits a helmet or a person and if it hits a barrel or something.

I uninstalled cs-s and dod-s but yet it still stayed.

I went to consol on dod and hit record 1 stop to try and see if it would work but all i got was

Error reading weapon data file for: weapon_ifm_steadycam

I need help because this messes with me when i'm trying to shoot i cant tell wether or not i fired sometimes cause i tend to quick switch a lot.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.!

Nevermind. I looked online and found that if you change your folder name (day of defeat source) or cs too in my case, that your sound will return to normal.

All cause of a Stupid update.

      MARINE CORPS ENLISTMENT OFFICE Camp Pendleton, CA   RECRUITMENT LETTER     Hello Paul Smith, Thank you for taking interest in joining the 1st Marine Raider Battalion.   During your trial period the following will occur: Once accepted as a Recruit, you will remain as a Recruit for 2 weeks from the day of your acceptance until the next BCT Class is offered. During your time as a recruit, it is highly encouraged to play within the Public Server and join Discord with our other members. Upon acceptance, you will be contacted by one of our DIs when the next available BCT is scheduled via the appropriate Discord channel.   We have a BCT class every two weeks. Please keep an eye out for when the next one is made available once you've completed your time requirements!   Upon stating that you understand all the information here, an admin will change your forum name and login to be :   P.
