can't hear gun fire

hey guys I can't hear any gun fire or explosions in DoDs. i can har foot steps and people talking but nothing else?

anyone know what the problem is?

I have heard that this can be related to the path that your game is in. Are you in c:\program files\steam\ or c:\program files(x86)\steam? Have you downloaded any recent sound drivers through Windows Update? This has been a problem in the past.

oh sorry Dillon, ya i got it working. i forgot about the post cause it was some crah files that we're messing it up, just got rid of those and it worked fine. thanks for the help man, helped me find those files.
