Possible Red dead redemption movie?

I heard that they were making a red dead redemption movie, but considering the track record for video game movies this might not blow over well. Ehh I'm wary of any movie adaptations, despite Red Dead being about as straight forward as a western can get I can only see them cutting out parts of the story that bore them.

Like how there are three danm missions in mexico involving a train. Or how bonnie asks you to do a billion annoying farm chores. Those are two parts that I bet will be cut. But you do have a point Costa.

Movies to games and games to movies only ruin the original. There have only been a few that can convert well. Although it's funny how tv shows can do it and they are much longer than movies.

I don't know about any of you but is there any thing similar between Brad Pitt and John Marston. marston also sounds like he lost his voice long ago.

I don't really care who plays John. But I'm more curious who will play John's old gang. If Dutch isn't played by someone who is completely batshit insane I'll be let down. That is assuming they don't cut out most of the old gang to compress the movie into an hour and a half cash cow.

And so god help them if the grave robber is cut from the script.

What about MacDougal. The insane doctor. and if only they had Jack Nicholson as Dutch. He plays alot of insane characters Ex. The joker from old batman movies and The insane guy from the shining.
