Warhammer 40k dawn of war on sale steam

So i was wondering if buying the warhammer 40k dawn of war series is a good idea? Comes with the gold edition and warhammer dark crusade. Anyone have experience playing these games? are they any good? are they worth getting even tho their kinda old now?

Fun games, along the lines of Starcraft, I enjoyed them.

I know Parker, Goodman and Costa played them regularly.

good games used to play them a little more complicated then the DoW2 but still fun

i play dark crusade, and personally i like it more than starcraft... Awesome game, i havent gotten a chance to play any of the other games in the series, but dark crusade is definitely one of my favorite RTS's
