Just read a fairly interesting article on what benefits people more, an SSD upgrade or going from 4GB to 8GB of RAM. Well, I done got my socks knocked off on this one. I had figured an SSD + 4GB RAM would be about equal to 8GB of RAM. Well, I was completely and utterly wrong. Check this out, particularly you quartermasters office folks.

8 GB of RAM is so well utlized by Photoshop, it makes no difference what type of disk you have. Have only 4 GB? You need a faster HD. But, if you are looking for bang for the buck and you use Photoshop, go with 8 GB of RAM. It still will give you over twice the performance of an SSD.

Would require and update to Windows 7 - because XP and Vista can only hand 4GB RAM max.

I'm not one to buy Windows - ever. So it will wait! My 3GB of RAM will be fine for now ;)

Very interesting though - I would've never guessed that would've been the outcome. I am kinda 'meh' on SSD anyway, but damn those are HUGE differences in speed.

XP isn't, but there are plenty of Vista 64-bits out there. If your computer came with 4GB or higher, it has 64, if it came with less than, it has 32 and as such supports a maximum of 4GB total (including VRAM from the graphics card and physical RAM).

      MARINE CORPS ENLISTMENT OFFICE Camp Pendleton, CA   RECRUITMENT LETTER     Hello Paul Smith, Thank you for taking interest in joining the 1st Marine Raider Battalion.   During your trial period the following will occur: Once accepted as a Recruit, you will remain as a Recruit for 2 weeks from the day of your acceptance until the next BCT Class is offered. During your time as a recruit, it is highly encouraged to play within the Public Server and join Discord with our other members. Upon acceptance, you will be contacted by one of our DIs when the next available BCT is scheduled via the appropriate Discord channel.   We have a BCT class every two weeks.
