[Zachow 1st MRB]

So thanks to my loving family I had to reboot my entire system. It's been a while since I've had to do this but for my video cards I know I need to update my drivers but I need some help with them.

what card do you have? nvidia or ati are easy to update.

What brand is your video card?

First, download new drivers. www.amd.com or www.nvidia.com

Do you know what model of card it is? 9800GT? GTX460 HD4850? If not, you can download gpu-zhere.

Download the correct driver, and save it to your desktop.

Now, uninstall the old driver. You can find this in your control panel under "Add/Remove Programs" for XP, or under "Programs" in Vista/7.

Find the uninstall option for your drivers.

Uninstall.

Reboot.

Install the new drivers (do not let it install a toolbar or demo)

Reboot.

Should work fine.

got it already dillion lol hes on windows vista 34 bit and has a Geforce 200 series Geforce 260gtx so i sent him too http://www.nvidia.com/object/win7-winvista...hql-driver.html also told him if he has problems or is unsure to get you on vent.
