New DODS Ptoblmes ahh

So I encountered this problem two days ago, as follows; When im running the screen while lightly flicker, it seems like the brightness goes up and down as well, I messed with the brightness tab and it does it make a difference, the darkest areas are still dark as hell. I just reinstalled norton anti virus when all this started and changed one setting i didnt have on before, then it started.

Then I turned that setting off, deleted DODS folder and reinstalled all the content.

Not sure whats going on if you have any ideas or suggestions, id greatly appreciate (-=

I'd look at your video card drivers. What video card do you have? There *may* be some corruption there, but its a bit of a long shot. It sounds like the video card is going out.

Do you have this happen with any other program or only with DoD:S?

Have you checked for updates for you video card drivers?

I have gotten a bit of lightening and darkening on our server before but after a restart normally it is fine.

I've had a similar problem with monitor calibration software. While I doubt that you use this sort of thing, there is some built into windows. It may have been turned on.
