DOD Crashing

DoD has been crashing for me for the past year or so and I have yet to figure it out. I do have a custom config, hud and skins, but I have tried removing them all and I still crash. The weird thing is I only crash on when playing in our public server. It almost always crashes on a map change.

Do you get any error? Is it a timeout issue? Any texture corruption or errors in the console?

No errors like of any kind that I know of or see. It just closes dod and puts me on my desktop.

if you right click on dods in ur steam menu and then go to properties/local files and press verify integrity of game cache...

it might work!
