Ok here recently my ping has been going up into the 150's, to 200's in the pub server, a couple weeks before that i was sitting in the 80's to 90's range, also when i am playing if i turn my flashlight on my game slows down, the same thing happens when someone throws a smoke, and when i am in a firefight with someone, i have windows vista and my computer is only a year old, can someone please help me figure out whats wrong?? Please, and Thank You

First state what the specs on your pc are and if u use direct wire connection to the modem,wireless, or router to share the connection with anyone else in your household it will help them be able to figure out the issue more easier =]

I believe we use the router, but when i am playing no one else in on the other computer in the house.

What video card do you have? This is the single biggest influence on your fps, particularly with the flashlight and smoke grenades. A good config can mitigate some of the slowdowns you are experiencing. We have one stickied and if you need help, please let me know. I can walk you through stuff. Grab me in vent and I'll be happy to get you set up.
