Heroes of Newerth

[Gunslinger]

I know more people are into League of Legends, but I play Heroes of Newerth. It's based off of DotA and is nearly identical in many aspects. It's a little more competitive than LoL, and is less forgiving. Resulting in more intense and more rewarding games. Teamwork is a necessity and no matter how good of a player you are, if you don't play nice with others you will lose every time. My in-game name is Gunslinger14 if anyone else plays. I try to get a game or 2 in everyday.

I personally hate both. My brother plays both, but if you don't know your entire team youre fucked. LoL isn't team based as much as HoN. But you still got (No Offense) retarded Asians, French, Spanish, etc in the game who just ruin it all. So its better to know everyone, etc friends, family. I tried and got pissed and said fuck it, then went to DoD and killed Parker alot. It made me feel better.

Personally, I prefer LoL or original DotA. Newerth seems like it's trying too hard to be for the "hardcore" DotA fans who would get pissed at players who didn't creep block or deny. In LoL I find many more casual laidback games, just good for a quick match between a class or before work. But to each their own, I have nothing against Newerth it just didn't fit with me.

But when I have time I always like to go back to the original DotA and get me some Dwarven Sniper action!
