massive lag spikes and high ping

It started today, i thought it was just our server, since it was having trouble this morning. But later i found out that i was the only one getting it and it happens on every server i join. My ping has been sky rocketting for some reason, and i get these horrible lag spikes that immobilize me for a good 20 seconds at a time. I maybe thought that it was just my ISP, but when browsing the internet, everything loads up fine in a timely fashion.

I dont know why im getting the high ping, but everytime i get these lag spikes, this error message comes up in console:

Error reading weapon data file for: weapon_ifm_steadycam

Ok, i have done some looking around and only ever found 2 things.

---Defrag your dod.

---(soudns weird but helps) Make a Demo. Just go into console and make a 2 second demo and the dod will re write the Steady cam Script.

These were the only thing i could find as to the Solution to this issue.

I make a recording and stop it every couple of minutes for various reasons, so it should have handled it, but Ill give defragging a try and see how that goes. Thanks
