I never get why people go to classes where they will sleep in/not pay attention. It is disrespectful and not a good idea. Do they take attendance in your lecture? If so just get a friend to go.

My brain is active enough to pick up on the important points of what is being discussed but beyond that I'm in a coma.

The professors don't go home and cry into their pillows if some people fall asleep during a 2hr lecture.
