  1. Still need to get my CCP, so basics it is for now.
  2. Have a good time buddy.
  3. Did you record that with FRAPS Yama? Also, can't believe you were playing WoT without me. Hurts my feelings.
  4. Well I was able to get my old mic working somewhat in the last few days. Working because, I am faintly audible. Somewhat because I have to position the mic just right and the slightest nudge or bump will require another fix. But no more. I got my Zalman mic today, and after recording the difference between the my old on-board mic and my new external mic, I'm stunned I ever though the old one was any good. I twisty-tied my mic to the boom arm on my headset and it's working perfectly. I may get a new pair of headphones sometime soon, but for now, this setup is excellent. Thanks again for the advice everyone.

  6. Thanks for all the help. What I think I might do to start is order a Zalman Zm-Mic1 Microphone from Amazon. The headphones themselves still work on my existing headset, so I can use them in concert with a dedicated microphone to see how the quality is. Then I'll be able to determine if having a separate Headphone/Microphone combo will work with my machine. If that doesn't work, I've got my eye on this Corsair 1300 Headset. If I really needed to, I could just keep buying the same GameCom 377 I've been using.
  7. I need a new gaming headset for my computer so I can talk on vent and ingame again. I've been using a Plantronics (specifically the GameCom 377 model) headset for the last 2 years because its sound and mic quality is excellent. However, I've gone through 2 of those because of the same problem; bad construction. After about a year of use, the area of the plastic headband above the adjustable section starts to crack. Eventually it breaks. I've always been very careful with both, but they break eventually. The mics fail around the same time. I've been looking at a few different brands like Turtle Beach and Corsair, but I'd like some input/advice. What I'm looking for in a gaming headset: -Full-size/over ear headphones -Great audio range and quality -Must have Great/Good microphone -Isn't really uncomfortable -Sturdy/Tough -Doesn't need to be wireless -Around 80$ or less
  8. -Have you played TF2 before? Yes/No/Maybe -Okay. Do you like cool stuff? Yes! -And do you like free stuff? YES!! -How about cool free stuff? YEAAHFggddss...*flopping of limbs from aneurysm* -Eww... For your consideration, Team Fortress: Arcade A lovingly crafted "demake" of the game Team Fortress 2, TF Arcade has a style hearkening back to the arcade cabinets of our 'back-in-the-day' years, complete with warnings to stay away from drugs and 4-player character select. And guess what? It's free to download. Yup. You can finish the sidescroller playing solo in less than an hour, but for the price of free, it's hard to ignore. It can be found here: Linky
  9. Three Floyds. The brewery is less than 10 miles from my house.
  10. -The good news: The rest of my family is going to a business conference in Omaha, so I've been given carte blanche to go anywhere in NA within reason without having to pay for airline tickets. but -The bad news: A hotel will not be paid for, and I don't have nearly enough money to pay for it myself. -So I have to: 1.) Find some kind of hostel close to an airport that is both - cheap to free - and - hobo/rapist free. or 2.) Find a friend that will - pick me up from the airport - and - let me crash at their place. Both are dicey propositions, so it looks like I'm going to be stuck in Indiana.
  11. That game has been sitting on my gamelist on Steam for the past 2 months. I haven't been able to bring myself to play it yet.

    Dear Esther

The original was also very engrossing, if not as visually stunning. You can find it here. http://www.fileplanet.com/196430/190000/fi...Esther-Mod-v1.1 Most Half-Life mods aren't nearly as well though out and planned as this one was. Things like amazing voice-acting and music push the envelope that much further. Shooter Mods are a dime-a-dozen, and even most great mods like Metastasis and Neotokyo don't drastically change the theme of the game. Dear Esther is something completely unexpected, but completely welcome. Give it a try.
  13. Aw shucks, thanks guys. As long as it's your shit, we're all good.

    QWOP

Already played it for too long, could only manage to get to 33 meters or so.
  15. Right on Hopkins! If it made someone feel better then you're doing allright.
  16. On the Waterfront. Brando was great in that one. "I'll go...but not before I tell you; I got your fucking number. So you should know, that I know, that you DID THAT SHIT!" "Fuck you Ronnie!" "Fuck. You." "Fuck you." "Fuck you." "Fuck you!" "Fuck you!" "FUCK you!" "Fuck YOU!" "Fuck you Ronnie!" "Fuck you." "FUCK YOU RONNIE!" "Fuck you Saddam Hussein of Iraq." "Fuck you." "Fuck you." "Fuuuuuuuck you." *grimaces* "Fuck you." "Fuck you. "Fuck you, fuck you, fuck yoooouuu." "Fuck you." *Mouths* "Fuck you." *Mouths* "Fuck you." *Mouths* "Fuck you." *Mouths* "FUuuuUUUUuuck you."
  17. Pineapple Express "Are we awake?" "...We are not sure. Are we...black?" "Yes we are." "Then we are awake! But we're very puzzled."
  18. Three Floyd's is a favorite of mine. They've got the brewery only a few miles away from my house. Tours are cheap, and the food is great too. Gumball Head is probably the Three Floyd's beer I like best, though Alpha King isn't bad either.

    Garry's Mod

It's seriously worth the 9.99 pricetag. Sandbox alone would be good, but there's all the other gamemodes as well. DO EEET!

    Garry's Mod

Nope, didn't need it. It was mostly thanks to the prop-magic of Parker and Smithers. They know what they're doing. He's lockpicking! Open the door! OPEN THE DOOR!
