Hey, I wanted to find out if anyone here plays WHFB or WH40K. If so list your army and what not. And if you frequent DakkaDakka or not. My army is the Imperial Guard. I have 3000pts but prefer to play at 1850-2000pts. Lots of infantry, some chimeras for mechvets. a Vendetta and a hellhound. 2 Leman russes that i can have as a regular one or a exterminator. And 1 leman russ demolisher. A manticore. My main tactic is infantry w/ hwts holding place in cover, while my mechvets go forward with my armor. Works pretty well. The best moment was causing a driagowing to run off the table with a pbs. Love reducing your leadership to 2. My favorite opponent is Space Marines, they die so easily, and my least favorite opponent is Eldar, the fuckers fly all over the place aways getting a 4+cover. I'm thinking of starting either an Empire or Brettonia army for fantasy.

Talked to one of my friends. Now he is gay, but hes like the manliest gay guy ever, I didnt know he was gay for like the first 4 months i knew him (he'll go to strip clubs and shit, really he one of the guys, except he likes guys.) So i was playing Dods a little bit ago, instead of drinking with my friends on the only Saturday I've had off in about a month [longstory] and some dude was tking. Message legend, which steam is telling me he is online and in the server. Turns out hes really not in the server. Because he is a ghost. Haunting Dods. Proof! Also apon discovering he is a ghost, i ask him and he said no. Which is what a ghost would say and it still says he is in there. Without him being there.

Tried to join servers after update. Was informed that the server is running an older version of the game and i can't join it.

Yeah, I'm trying to keep it a pure human regiment. So I don't want abhumans, and for the most part i'm trying to rely on my gunline. Any army with deep striking will have to wait to assault after my shooting phase. With all the guns, I'm pretty sure I can stop em. And with all the Missile launchers and Meltaguns, any tanks are scrap. Any troops trying to move up are going to meet resistance via the two mortar squads. I'm thinking of shaving off 90pts worth of equipment to get Lord Castellan Creed, with 4 orders each turn with a command radius of 24 inches! A standard Company Command Squad only has 2 orders with a 12 inch radius. I want this to represent a more well trained Guard. When i can afford it my Army is getting 2 Chimeras, to make the vets a mechanized squad. Those extra Chimeras are if i can play in a 1500 or more point army. The current Campaign that's coming up at my local shop is only 1000pts. I have an unhealthy obsession with the Elysian look, but to build the same 1000 pt army would cost me a little over $650. Just for the models. But they look so Sci-Fi. See below
