  1. # 403 "Bang!" STEAM_0:0:19088060 11:41 70 0 active Name: Bang! Steam I.D: STEAM_0:0:19088060 Reasons for the Ban: Multiple TK, shooting in spawn Recomended duration of ban: 1-3 months Demo Provided?: N
  2. Typically this occurs when you connect to steam through one gateway, but try to play a game after connecting through another gateway. For instance, you login to steam on a wireless router, but while connected your DNS and IP addresses change due to normal dynamic IP settings (typically, mine rolls over to a new IP every 2-4 hours). When this happens, steam can't validate your account properly, and it blocks you out. When this happens, the only thing you can really do is wait a few minutes or log in again. As far as what steam support will do about it... probably nothing really.
  3. Granted. Your phone now works, but you can only place calls to 1-900-COWBOY, you can only send text messages to American Idol voting, every game you download is Push the Button (how long can YOU push it?!), and a short circuit makes it and everything around it smell like a yeast-infected vagina. I wish to receive 100 free Trojan condoms every week.
  4. GySgt. Collins, I thank you for your haste in responding. William Reynolds, Rec. *Salute*
  5. Name:William Reynolds Steam I.D:STEAM_0:1:2186666 Date & Time of ban:Oct. 7, 2010 1930h EST Admin who banned you:Gunnery Sergeant Michael Collins Excuse for the Unban:I feel as though I have not been heard out in regard to this ban. As I had stated earlier, I would like to speak with you personally, Sergeant, as I feel that you are relying on server info that is incorrect. I can prove that information to be flawed if you please. If you do not wish to speak to me personally, then I would like to be heard by another officer who is capable of discussing this with me. In any case, I would like to know the length of my ban, and to convey my sincerest respect. William Reynolds, Rec.
  6. Addendum: As an addition to my account I would like to note that I hit another player with one round and did not state the number of rounds fired in total. Whether I fired more rounds than that I am not aware, since the map changed shortly after the round fired and I have little understanding of touch-to-click (since I do not have it enabled on my desktop).
  7. I do not recall firing half a Thompson clip, and the previous instance which you may be speaking of was most likely on the same map. Is it possible that the continued firing (of "over half a Thompson clip") was a result of the server-map-change? I found that firing in the alley just behind the first Allied flag and accidentally hitting a teammate counted as shooting a teammate in the spawn (possibly because of how close the first Allied flag is to the Allied spawn point). I admit to accidentally hitting a teammate in this area with a rifle grenade earlier in the map cycle as I did not know the timing for those grenades at the time (it blew up in my hand, and consequently the server gave a message that I had been slayed, though the killbox beneath the minimap showed that I was killed by my own grenade), and this was as I was trying to throw it through a window which one of our teammates was firing through with a .30Cal MG. I believe that both of these instances were in the map dod_avalanche, and I know for fact that both were accidental. You say that I "intentionally team attacked". I would like to know if your evidence of this is based on an automatic "attack in spawn" message from the server or if it was eye-witnessed. I implore you to reconsider, as I have not ever, nor will I ever consider intentionally attacking a teammate. I enjoy playing on this server and fully understand that a stats system is running on it, and I do not wish to befoul anyone's statistics with an extra death attributed to a careless team-kill. I do not wish to sound argumentative, but I enjoy playing on these servers and do not wish to be banned for a couple of accidents in which I meant no harm to other players. If there is any possibility of me discussing this personally with a superior officer on a vent server or in-game, I would be glad to do so. With all due respect, William Reynolds, Rec.
  8. Name: William Reynolds, Rec. Steam I.D: STEAM_0:1:2186666 Date & Time of ban: Oct. 7, 2010 1930h EST Admin who banned you: Unknown Excuse for the Unban: I was in the menu applying a change to my video settings. Upon exiting the menu I tapped the touchpad, firing a single round into another player. Given that a new round had started, we were in the spawn and I was still using the touchpad. There was one second left before changing maps when I fired the shot, so I believe I was autobanned. I have never intentionally killed a teammate, and did not intend to do so.
