Why would I laugh?

So I have to ask, we're already covering our favorite music, does anyone here still read for fun here? Any favorite authors, books, short stories, and the like? A favored columnist on the paper, or some classic that you've read and can never put down. How about books which you started byt never got around to finishing? To start it off, I'm reading, as of right now, The History of the British Empire by T.O. Lloyd. It may be an assigned reading/textbook, but I can't put it down. I'm also hunting down some Heinlein, namely his more space-tuned ones like his late 40s, early 50s stories.

There is also ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION, which I remember less for what they did for the first Fullmetal Alchemist series and for Bleach, but because of Blue Train

Ugh how could I forget The Pillows. XD My mind wasn't functional last night. @_@ The snowstorm in DC turned a 45 minute commute to 8 hours.

Anyways, a selection of who I listen to: Johnny Cash, Hank Williams Sr., Hank Williams Jr., Charlie Daniels, Toby Keith, George Strait, Willie Nelson, Alabama, Alan Jackson, and several other country artists in the neo-traditional and outlaw/southern rock types. No, I am not trolling y'all. I'm a purebred boy from the Philippines who loves country music. What makes it worse is the other half of my list. Megumi Hayashibara, Fire Bomber, Megumi Nakajima, Nishikori Ken, Fripside, JAM Project, Nobou Uematsu, HIGH and MIGHTY COLOR, and several other Japanese artists due to my love of Anime. This makes me the outlier of the battalion doesn't it? XD

Hopefully I get a high paying job in a field I enjoy. Politics may make me rage, but...I enjoy it. Here's to hoping I beat out all the other applicants to the very few positions available in the State Department come this summer.

Well said sir, and as a person half your age, I think its true. But with this current economic situation and just plain paying off student loans, working a high paying job even if you don't like it seems like...well...the only choice.

Granted, you get into a horrific accident where it gets totaled, but you managed to stay safe. The insurance company manages to pay for most of it, but if you were to cover the rest, you'd lose your home, so you're stuck with a Ferarri that looks even worse than the Toyota Hilux they have propped on a podium in the Top Gear UK Studios. I wish it would stop snowing.
