  1. Hey guys! I've been training pretty hard as some of you know, but I figured I'd drop by to take news and let you know I'm still alive. The course I am currently on ends August 5th and I will be available shortly after for some realisming. Currently pretty much every articulation in my body hurts, but I am having a great time. Last week was spent at the range and I got the chance to swim a river on a wet line. I hope the 1st is doing well and scoring some victories and I'm thinking about you guys.
  2. You're Canadian right? In Canada going in the reserves can be fun and fulfilling, it's also a good way to acquire skills and make some extra cash. However, if you plan on joining the regular military later it can ironically make things more difficult and prolong your transfer. Other than that, it all depends on the unit, which one are you looking at?

    Salah Abdeslam

It doesn't. Most reports on the CIA's enhanced interrogation techniques show that it produces a bunch of worthless intelligence because people will litterally say anything to not be waterboarded.
  4. Originally, we had a little group of late night pubbers with Tate, Stone and others. Let's just say the server was a lot less verbally clean back then haha. Tate got me to join. This time around I've been unfairly harassed by 2LT Quarterman during a random pub session and my feelings are hurt. Sniff.
  5. Dang that looks good! Maybe when I'm done with training I will pick up the game and join you guys!
  6. ERRATA: On the second page of The General's Armchair, second column, the phrase saying "This is one of the founding principles of the indirect approach [...]" should instead say "This is one of the founding principles of the direct approach [...]". That's my bad.
  7. Either you're drunk/high or you're typing this on mobile. Either way, thank you for the thought and have one on me!
  8. http://www.thebeaverton.com/national/item/...cording-to-plan Meanwhile, our shadowy plans proceed without a hitch.
  9. So basically it all comes down to how much influence/personal connections you have with these committees? As opposed to a vote amongst party members? That's funny by the way! The result was hilariously tight, but if what you say is true and Iowa is Bernie's demographics, I worry about what will happen in the rest of the country. Not that I have a big stake in the whole thing, I just like a lot of his ideas, whereas Clinton seems like your average bread and butter politician.
  10. Thank you, that was very informative and I now understand a lot better how everything kinda fits in. Another question if you don't mind, how are these delegates chosen? And I assume "superdelegates" get the title as soon as they achieve one of the special positions? (Governor, Congressman etc...)
  11. I'm also a Bernie fan, but from an outside perspective, this is a very confusing system. What does this mean in effect on who will win the Democratic nomination? How is the final candidate chosen? Is the result pretty much a foregone conclusion?
  12. Brussels: Monrovia: Same thing really.
  13. Yes, I am a bit of a tankie, and I generally prefer Russian tanks due to their inclusion of ATGMs in their arsenal. Although it's a bit of a toss up for me between Leopards and well upgraded T-72s. Ironically I work (or will work, when I attend arty school this fall) with howitzers instead. Oh well, this gives me a boner too:
  14. Here's a nice music video with footage from a tank crew in the Ukrainian Civil War. The tank model is a T-64 BM, with reactive armor if I'm not mistaken.
  15. Oh mein gott that looks hilarious. I will definitely watch it.
  16. Here is a trailer for a new show coming soon. Potentially politically offensive.
  17. I don't think that was me, I never played Epoch, but I do remember playing with a lot of peeps and having tents full of gear along with vehicles. Good times.
  18. We used to play a lot a few years ago (in the mod), would be fun to get a squad going again.
  19. It'd certainly be a good chance to test a bunch of WW2 stuff in an engine that is a bit more realistic than DoDs. It's also fairly easy to make and lock a squad on most servers as long as we have the numbers. I can squad lead or generally I like to go for MG/LMG. I've also played commander a few times and it's fun when your squad leaders try to work with you to make a cohesive plan happen.
  20. I also play PR, let's get a 1st MRB squad going sometime!
  21. I've played a fair amount of Wargame, both Airland Battle and Red Dragon, and am generally a Pact player. I'm always down for a game or two.

    Dont run away!

Well that made me laugh before my midterm.
  23. @ Gardner: I never even heard of that, but it is duly noted, it does sound delicious. @ Gooderham: I am from Quebec City, which I love with all my heart! @ Parker: I did think about Toronto, since I could have gone to U of T, but they didn't offer my program (Conflict Studies and Human Rights) and I dunno, I kinda wanted a smaller city to uproot myself to. It's also somewhat farther from home, here I can just cross the border into Quebec and enjoy much reduced liquor prices.
