Did you get the same error message? How long did it take before to get the error before the configuration change?

I have to agree with the Lt. Col. I think it is rather obvious

I have been thinking about getting Space Engineers. It looks pretty awesome and there are tons of good reviews for it. Like a Minecraft type game in space. Still in Alpha but people say the devs are working hard on it. If others are interested we could go in on the 4-Pack and only spend $15 each for the game. Let me know if your interested.

The last word from Gearhart was that the config that I posted that has certain variables commented out was working for him.

This sounds like the battery itself may be going bad in the system. When the system is shutdown it must rely on the battery to maintain the configuration of the BIOS. Without the battery the BIOS settings revert to their defaults which would explain why you needed to select the correct boot drive. From the description it sounds like the system is shutdown normally but now you are just logging out and keeping the system running? When you shut the system down say for overnight does the issue return? If you shut the system down and restart it right away after it is down what does it do then?

Since you have been playing a while I am pretty certain it is a config issue. What I would like to do is to turn off some items in your config to see if the issue persists or if everything works okay. If things do work okay then we know that one of the items that I commented out is causing the issue. At that point we can start to enable configs a few at a time until we find the one causing the problem. Thanks for taking my advice and playing without your autoexec for a while. I am hoping that this narrows it down to a config issue. In the meantime I will look through your config to see if I find anything.
