  1. That's interesting. By your logic, the only language that can be protected is the statement of opinion? Therefore, Congress would have the right to pass a law criminalizing a word. For lack of thought, Jabberwocky. We all know of what scourge the Jabberwocky is upon the earth, so (hypothetically) Congress has decided to outlaw the word. Therefore the blight won't exist. Wouldn't the 1st Amendment protect the outlawing of a word with no inherent political or sociological tendencies? Furthermore, it can be argued that these "rednecks" were looking to induce a panic. Calling the Muslims terrorists and yelling at them to go home will cause emotional duress for no apparent reason. Because it is their view they should go home? It's my view there's a fire in the building. I'm wrong, but there's a fire. Don't get me wrong, I agree with you about freedom of speech. But, I find there's a line. The Supreme Court should not have voted 8 to freakin' 1 to allow the Westboro Baptist Church to protest soldiers' funerals. They should have voted 0 to 9. There should be a common sense dictation. Instead Justice Alito is the only one who thinks the WBC shouldn't be allowed to do that.
  2. I haven't got around to playing number 3 (it's on my list). But yea, looks pretty entertaining, as Kalypso Studios usually is.
  3. Ah, so we should be able to yell, "FIRE!" in a public place with no repercussions. Or, "He's got a gun!" Resulting in a random bystander being tackled by some security or vigilantes or what have you. In that, there is a limit to what you can and cannot say. You would be arrested for doing either of these things. So, doesn't Freedom of Speech already have limits for common sense? Why is this different?
  4. And the work is never done...
  5. Because you saw fit to correct the other mistake, I thought you'd have actually corrected the rest of it as well. There! Actions!
  6. Great job as always people! Keep up the good work!
  7. Amazing preview. As for the timeline, it's 200 years after Oblivion. Skyrim is in some sort of a civil war, likely spurned by the assassination of their King. Some of the Nords wish to secede from the Empire, as the Empire can no longer protect them without a legitimate heir to the throne. Other Nords wish to stay in the Empire until a new line may be found for the throne, leaving the Empire now would surely cause more strife. Thus, the civil war happens. Shortly thereafter, the Dragon King Alduin, the Nord God of Destruction, appears and begins to ravage the lands of Skyrim. You play as the last of the Dragonborn, and must save Skyrim from the threat of the dragons and Alduin.
  8. I'll unban you for now, but you're on thin ice as far as I'm concerned. If you have such a reputation in our servers as you claim, you will follow our rules as they are stated. Behave yourself, and enjoy the server.
  9. First off, who cares if you went 40-18? Secondly, you still haven't posted this in the correct format or in the correct section. If you do wish to be unbanned follow our rules now, as it appears you were unable to do in the first place.
  10. After talking it over with Hopkins, I have removed the three Steam IDs provided from the banlist. You are free to play in our servers. I do sincerely hope you not find yourself on the receiving end of the ban hammer again, so do be sure you and your comrades do behave in our servers. I do agree banning the entire clan for the actions of one was excessive, and I do apologize for that misunderstanding. Happy fragging in the servers, and let's all behave ourselves.
  11. If this were a universe where that was a remotely even adequate movie, I would perhaps think about it. But as it is, Avatar has achieved a level of candid awfulness (which google tells me is a word) that cannot be described by the vocabulary I have at hand.
  12. Rockstar's next game, L.A. Noire. Using their next-generation movement techniques, this game should prove to be interesting.
  13. It's so polite!
  14. You shouldn't need to convert any files, just open it with GOM or VLC.
  15. Coming out March 15th. Which happens to be my birthday. Hint hint. Just kidding, you don't have to get me anything. But seriously. Get me this. Nah, just kidding. Or am I?
  16. If you're just looking for a media player, I'd download GOM or VLC they both have worked with Blu-Rays I have played.
  17. "Dead Island, for those unfamiliar with the name, is a first-person survival horror game set on a tropical island vacation paradise that somehow ends up infested with hordes of the shambling dead. The focus will be on melee combat, although there will be shooter bits and even some RPG elements as well." Very powerful trailer, hopefully for a well-constructed game. Also a graphic trailer, watch at your own risk. I had to make my 666th post special.
  18. Reinstalling the game should fix the problem. Anzio is a stock map, and it comes with the game.
  19. I'm less disturbed by your choice to be Argonian (although I prefer Imperial myself), and more disturbed by your spelling of "asasin"
