I seem to recall similar server issues with other pre & newly released games. Battlefield was especially prone to this as the drivers for graphics cards were never added until the last moment. I don't think it's your settings (unless you're trying to run it on an Atari....)

I know, It's just I've been around DOD since the first Beta, done the whole clan thing, the matches/realisims etc and now get a very limited time to play. I cannot face limiting myself to rifles whilst being a recruit as I won't enjoy the game. It is certainly no disrespect to any member and what they have to go through to join (I also don't fancy using my real name ). I certainly don't think I'm better than anyone else and I'm well past caring about that. However, DOW is new and I'd be starting from scratch, happy to learn new weapons then. Please excuse my slightly wonky logic...

After too many years on the server without enlisting, I was all ready to enlist for DOW and then noticed that OSX is not supported. Since I'm limited to a Macbook atm (and no, I'm not dualing it) I guess I shall stay a humble pubber until my scedule settles down and I get a desktop.

Now the holidays have officially started, are there any plans to run seasonally applicable customs on the server? Ok that sounds better than they are. Can the standard maps be replaced by the custom snow versions? lol

It was probably just Willow screaming down the mic lol It played fine later in the day. I'm in Europe atm, so I'm battling LAG on a daily basis.

It's still spiking. Tried another server, that played ok.

Just enquiring if you are any further forward with the lag issue? (I apologise for asking in advance since I'm a server REG rather than a unit member). Sunday was really bad (for me anyway) and I even managed to tk without a teammate actually appearing on my screen. Monday I threw a nade in the sewers and found it rolling at my feet (I actually bounced off the roof and a wall, which was quite impressive for style points ) Given my limited and woefully outdated server knowledge, i think this might be a little more than a "Kick the Server" job .
