Is it possible that you have multiple audio input devices and/or output devices, and discord is defaulting to one that interferes with the others? I'm sure there are other reasons this could be happening though. It most likely has nothing to do with it, but I'd check my audio drivers and make sure they're up to date. You could also check and see if your discord is up to date as well.
