I'll probably be replacing my Inspiron 1720 with an Inspiron17B. I've had problems on my 1720 that kept me from playing any games other than Modern Warfare 2 at 420p or Minecraft, but I'm hoping I can play some better games; like Valve, Frictional, Bethesda, and maybe some World at War or MW3.

My specs are going from,

1400x900 LCD to 1600x900 LED

Windows Vista 32 bit to Windows 7 64 bit

Duo Core 2 (1.3ghz) to i5 (2.3ghz with... turbo boost up to 2.9ghz?)

8600GT to GT 525M

3.25GB to 4GB RAM

HD Sound to HD Sound 2.0

Midnight Blue to Diamond Black

Okay, I'm done.

Do you think that I'll finally be able to play DoD:S without that mean ol mouse lag and low fps? That would be great, as long as I run at 60+fps with decent response time, I'm happy. Maybe I'll put a filter on or two.

Yeah that'll all run DOD:S perfectly smooth.
