World News: Oslo Bombing

There has been a massive explosion in Oslo at the capital building. There are 7 dead and 2 seriously injured at this time. Let's all hope those injured recover and that Zahl is safe.

97 youth and counsellors out of 580 have been shot at a Labour Party Sponsored youth camp on the island of Utøya. They've confirmed the man, Anders Behring Breivik, is a radical right-wing Christian Conservative who did this because he hates the current Labour Party in power in Norway. The police apparently have him in custody.

I don't have words for this. What a fucked up man! First he bombed oslo then he had time to go outside oslo and shoot people. He was dressed as a police man when he did it.. at least 7 killed in the bombing and 84 from the shooting ...

Thanks for sharing your concerns about me and my country's situation. I'm fine because I was in Spain when the bombing and shooting took place. The incident took place in my county (Buskerud). But we had enough resources, so i wasn't called back home. I knew some of the people on Utøya where the shooting took place. Some of them are alive and only 1 so far that i know is dead. The hideous actions by Breivik shows how easy it is to contemplate and followthrough actions that is of such caliber. I hope that Norway and the rest of the world tightens security up a notch on certain places such as the ability to buy synthetic fertilizer and stricter guarding of public buildings and locations. I don't want Norway to be guarded by the army and the police on every corner but if we don't do anything after this massacre I will find that very naive.

I just came home yesterday so ive only watched this via television. Guess i will have to take a walk in the park and look people in the eyes.
