There is a similar ballot initiative on the way in Montana for 2014. Seems like all the Northwest college states are cashing in on their populations... Fine with me. Just don't let anyone under 21 near the stuff. I'm a devout Muslim, so it's never been an option for me [medically or otherwise]. I know a lot of guys who've come back from overseas with a head full of Gov't pills, only to discover that dope works just fine for them. More power to them, honestly. It just makes me wonder whether drug-testing is still in effect for THC in those states, or if its treated like alcohol where you just can't be intoxicated at that time.

Marijuana drug testing is bullshit.

If youre a consistent user, it takes a month for THC to get out of your system. Say you've got a job that doesnt require drug testing and you decide to quit and go look for a new job, you have to wait a month to get the THC out of your system (or do a detox regiment that might cost alot of money and might not even work)

Lets say youre in a car accident and they wanna drug test you to see if you were high. If youve smoked pot in the last month they will find THC in your system, and deem you intoxicated. Then youre fucked.

All the scientific evidence points to weed being barely harmful, which is eliminated when alternatives to smoking are presented. The only time weed can harm you is if you shove weed down someones throat and they choke on it, or someone makes a spear out of the stems and stab you. Along with that, millions is spent in law enforcement alone on weed to combat it. On the medical side of weed there is a billion dollar industry, let alone all the other uses of weed. Though if legal it should all be pure weed, none of that GMO weed. Crossbreeding only, no genetic modification.
