There's no pistol but the M1911 With that, you can redecorate your house with burglar brains. Of course, it might be an issue if you don't like the small magazine capacity or the kick the .45 ACP gives.

Other than that, you can't go wrong with the Beretta M9 I reckon.

Glocks are pretty bulletproof. They come in .40 AND 9mm. Maybe that's for you to decide? They're light as balls with the polymer frame.

My parents have 3 1911's, and while they are fucking awesomely fun to shoot, the ammo is kinda expensive.

I'm a fan of glocks as well, was considering getting one for myself in the near future.
