Its all going to come down to E3. Sonys conference was much more impressive then MS's. They showed that their system was geared for gaming. MS only seemed to show that you can watch TV and surf the net with theirs. Still alot more information to be revealed.

I expect I'll have at least 2 of each... well, at least one of each at home, and one of each at work (I currently I have 3 360s on my desk and 2 PS3s under it).

Thank god you guys are done arguing over windows versions.

Anyways, I've always had a PS and loved it. I prefer the smaller controller over xbox's bigger sized one when it came out. To be honest, I only ever used the console for sports games, racing games and games like GTA. Any kind of FPS or RTS is always gonna be better on the computer.

I'd still play N64 over any other console. Golden Eye, Smash Bros, Mario Kart, Donkey Kong, Star Fox, etc these games were classics.

I'm glad sony doesnt have fees for being online, but i cant shake the thought of how many problems sony has had to deal with when it came to its online services. I've never had those issues, but have read many articles about them. Most people say that the xbox live gold is worth it because you get what you pay for. It works and doesnt break down on you.

I agree parker and thats mainly why im getting a system is to play certain sports games and other exclusive games like War Thunder and AC4. I prefer my FPS to be on computer. I remember playing Bad company 2 on 360. It annoyed the hell out of me. Some console games are looking very interesting like killzone shadows fall, watch dogs, and destiny.

I'll probably wait on NFL 25 and get it for ps4. Not sure if their going to release NHL 14 for ps4 but im definitely picking that game up.

Sorry about that... I get irrationally upset about bad mathematics!

Anyway, in terms of the consoles, I think they're both gonna be pretty good. They're both pushing some interesting ideas, and perhaps MS has made some odd choices (its too early to tell... a lot of the stuff people are complaining about hasn't actually been made very clear yet). In terms of spec they're pretty similar, and from a devs perspective they look like they're gonna both be a joy to work with. So, possibly Sony are gonna claw back some lost ground from disillusioned 360 owners, but in terms of user experience who cares about market share? They're both gonna sell like hot cakes, and with them being so similar to PC architecture most games are gonna be available on both platforms, no problem.

I can't wait for either of them!

(Even if it should be THREE.)
