Fucking hell.

The guy seems to be pretty fucking stupid... I mean his justification is just irrational. I don't think that politics is really an issue here; I just think that guy is just angry and unstable, and could easily do something similar in another place, at another time, for any other 'reason'. Fucking hell.

I find I get most annoyed that we give such a large amount of broadcast time to such people... the school shooters, and the Anders Breiviks. While I believe that such things should be reported, I hate the way in which it happens: 24 hour rolling news, invariably showing slow zoomed gray-scale images of the perpetrators face, with reporters almost gleefully exchanging statistics on numbers killed and injured. It's not just the fact it's horrendously tasteless; such footage shows other unstable people that if they wish to they can do the same, and needlessly stirs up an atmosphere of fear and fury in ordinary people.

I think the victims and their families should be allowed to grieve in peace, and that ideally the perpetrators face pictures should be kept to small, functional, mugshots only if they need to be shown at all, to reduce any 'glory' they can wring out of the media.

Fucking hell.

You know, if they did more of a "policing of their own", their countries wouldn't be in half the shit predicaments they're in at the moment. And yet they see it so fit to blame this onto others. Going by their logic, we should of crashed a few 747's into the Masjid al-Ḥarām 11 and a half years ago for one organization's attack on us. Just one more reason why religion should be removed in its entirety, breeding nothing but sheer ignorance and violence.

What upsets me the most is not the level of violence or the perpetrators ridiculous motives, but the fact the guy was wearing a "Help for Heroes" t-shirt. Most likely a guy who gave back to those who gave more for the well being of those who could not or would not fight for themselves. Another decent fellow whose life was cut way too short.

      MARINE CORPS ENLISTMENT OFFICE Camp Pendleton, CA   RECRUITMENT LETTER     Hello Ricky Cooper, Thank you for taking interest in joining the 1st Marine Raider Battalion.   During your trial period the following will occur: Once accepted as a Recruit, you will remain as a Recruit for 2 weeks from the day of your acceptance until the next BCT Class is offered. During your time as a recruit, it is highly encouraged to play within the Public Server and join Discord with our other members. Upon acceptance, you will be contacted by one of our DIs when the next available BCT is scheduled via the appropriate Discord channel.
