I thought The Pacific was terrible. Compared to Band of Brothers anyway.

Jarhead is a superb film. Full Metal Jacket also.

Enh i mean when holding up to Band of Brothers and comparing it, the Pacific is outdone. But i think it was still a good show standing on its own

I'd also vote for Generatio Kill over the Pacific, but its Apples to Oranges in my opinion

In my mind both Generation Kill and The Pacific are both spectacular films. I love what they did with both. I am a big fan of WW2 and yes they do talk a lot more in The Pacific but come on there are a lot of kick ass seince in the film. Generation Kill is a grate movie because its about the war we were in not to long ago. To tell you the truth i cant make up my mind.

Band of Brother depicts the 101st Airborne's involvement in D-Day landings, Market Garden and the Battle of the Bulge I believe.
