I hear its pretty good, but I am not sure how the controls would be without a gaming joy stick.

Funny thing with this game is using the mouse is a lot easier and gives you an advantage compared to a joystick.

The game is pretty straight forward you destroy ground target or capture airfields. So as a fighter you defend your ground force from enemy bombers/fighters. It's great shooter it's not really not hard to fly.

These words must wait till the ground portion comes out, this game is supposed to be war gamings rival. Their planes is off the charts better than World of Warplanes. Until ground forces come out we won't know for certain

Im pretty hooked, its definitely a fun game, really in depth yet simple.

dOES anybody know what the shell racks do in this game? it appears they change what sorts of ammunition are carried, but what perks and drawbacks are there from that? it appears you go down in the variety of ammunition you carry when you "upgrade"... im lost

Yep my advice is always use incindary bullets , those chew planes to bits.

They do but you really need to get used to them. IMO they are really slow.
