-Shows top10 players on the server

-Ingame menu to acces all these commands

-Ingame and out of game access to a webpage with individual profiles that includes special graphs, map performance overviews, a flash hitbox, integrated steam profiles, and serverbased live stats.

i don't really care about stats at all

i realize that some people do and thats perfectly fine but i think upgrading them puts more importance on them

i always thought that stats were a silly competition that should be a more a running joke than a bitter rivalry and making them more important makes it more competitive... hence more serious

i dunno just my thoughts, i honestly don't care because i am not bad enough to be ranked horribly

I agree with u man, its a game it meant to have some fun. Its not who has the fucking better rank.

I don't care honestly. I check my rank like once a day. I think putting a extra 8 dollars worth might be overdoing it, but that is just me.

Im open to any new Ideas. Why not try the 8 bucks once. If its accepted well and better than why not. If its not much of a difference and or not liked. Get rid of it. 8 bucks lost. No biggie.

Its of course fun to be on top, and it is for no other reason than that i want to see how i do against the teenagers here;p But other than that i dont care.. someone has to be rank 1..

I voted yes; I think it would increase our pubber population, which is what our goal is. If it only costs 8 dollars to do that, then I think it is a good deal.

People tend to come back to a place that they have been 'established' at. If you don't like stats/ranks, ignore them?

I would agree with Spear. Sometimes spending the extra dollars makes something better in the long run, versus taking the cheap route and it not being as good. I think it would attract more people to the pub, more maybe if the fact the server had it was in the title/name of the server. Just an idea.

I really don't know why the money is even being discussed here.

I told Parker a month ago if we use HlStatsX, I would pay for it. I am still willing to do so and he knows that. I'll put 96 dollars in the account right now to pay for the first year in advance if need be.

The fact that that is causing people to vote no doesn't really make sense to me. I was going to pay for it because like Spear, I know it will keep people coming back to our server. Yes, we play the game for fun, not to see who is best. That is us, pubbers however, play to see who is best. They like stats. The more comprehensive the stats, the happier they are. The happier our pubbers are, the more they play on our server, keeping it full and keeping recruits coming into the unit. Say what you want, you know I'm right on this matter.

Whether we use it or not, voting no because you don't see a point in paying for something is moot, considering none of you are actually paying for it. As far as you all are concerned, it's free. Just like SOD stas we use now. The only difference is, this is far more advanced, with a lot more gizmos, bells and whistles.

Sorry Ford, now that you mention it, I remember you saying you'd pay for it... Would you like me to reset the voting? Although, amazingly enough it does look like the Yeas will still outnumber the Nays even with the idea of it costing the unit $$.

I just want it to be clear to everyone this isn't costing them any money, it's something I am willing to pay out my own pocket to see the pub gain strength. That is the only reason I mentioned it to Parker in the first place.

aight guys this is more about the pubbers. We might not care about the rank but most pubbers do and the higher the ranks they are the more they will play with us so they can keep their rank and try to get better i guess. We are here to have fun really and to keep the pub populated and this just gives the pubbers somethign to work towards i guess and since they actually have a rank in a server they might stop playing in other servers and play with us more?

Well here's the prob though, I'm a simple guy so extra bells and whistles really, I can do without them, I like simple things. Remember like it has been discussed, more people more hackers, and hackers are also attracted to the ranking stats. They'll cheat their ass off to be #1 in the server, "I've seent it!" Having a constant amount of pubbers is cool and all, but I think we're already doing that with just the SOD and overall the character of the unit, people see us as a good group of people. So like the saying goes, "With more money... More problems," and with a better ranking system that has extra whistles, kazoos, and "jing-tinglers," you're going to have more hackers and more assholes in the server, because they eat up shit like HLStatsX. And I'll admit the money and Ford paying for it is also part of my reason just because I don't want him to be troubled paying for something, that I think will bring more problems. BUT, Ford's money is Ford's money and I have no say in what he can do with it.

P.S. $96 is a lot of Washington's that can be stuck between a booty and a g-string or fun bags and their holster... Just saying.
