Brief Description of Issue:

Hello I have question. I Cant acess the steam community page and i cant add people unless they are in recent played. When i try to go to Internet Explorer it has a message that says this:

•Check your proxy settings. Go to Tools > Internet Options > Connections. If you are on a LAN, click "LAN settings".

•Make sure your firewall settings aren't blocking your web access.

•Ask your system administrator for help.

I Dont know what any of thoes things are besides tha ask ur admin for help. I Was wondering if you could help me figure out how to make sure my firewall are blocking my Internet. I think its when i downloaded TS3 (Team Speak 3) Something came with it and blocked my firewall or something, because i cant change my avatar without fixing whatever is wrong

EDIT: Ok I found something. What I need you to do is still uninstall TS3 but also do this:

Go into your command prompt and type in "tracert steamcommunity.com > C:\output.txt". This will run a trace route and will put the output in a text file on your C drive. When you have done that copy and paste whatever is in that text file into a reply to this post.

Second, can you please tell me what operating system you are running?

Rook, if go into Start>Control Panel>Windows Firewall and then click allow program through firewall or exceptions to firewall. Make sure these programs are checked off in the list. If they do not show up, click on allow another program through and just show the PC the path to the .exe file. If windows firewall is ok, do the trace that sky recommended and see if that works then get back to us. Also, you should change the browser you use, IE has been known to have errors like this all the time. You dont have to, but just saying. :-D
