Brief Description of Issue: Unable to add friends to my friends list. My current players tab is consistently blank, and my previous players tab is from days back. Im unaware of any solution to the problem.

Hello Smithers, I have found a answer to this bug. The players tab is simply very buggy, many people have issues with it. So, there is no solution to make your players tab appear. But, if you want to add a friend, you can simply click the friends tab in Steam (Top Left of the Steam menu), click Add a Friend..., and then enter the name of whoever you want to befriend.

Please reply to this stating if this did/did not work.

I think his issue might be that he knows how to add friends, but it isn't adding them.

I thought maybe you had reached your limit, but I don't think you have. You're at level 5, only got 96 friends...pretty sure you can fit more, at least 4?

What exactly happens when you try to add a friend?

The friends list in Steam is part of the cloud connection that the games use as well to save button configs and saved games. I would recommend that you uninstall steam and download it again. It sounds like that section is having trouble connecting to pull the information to your PC. If this doesn't work, also make sure that you aren't past the max amount of friends you can have on your list.

Please to not reinstall Steam quite yet.

The in-game current player list is garbage and a known issue with Steam in general. If you want to add friends please go the main Steam window outside of the game, click on your name in the top menu, and then select "Friends". If you do this while in game there will be a tab that says "Players" and you can add people from there who are currently in game. I do this quite a bit when recruiting people since the in-game current player list is worthless and searching for people in Steam can be daunting with number of players along with poor searching functions from Steam in general.

I will try this.

My issue was not that I did not know how, I can do it manually sure. The problem was when I shift-Tabbed out of game and used that friends list function. The current players list is/always blank and the past players tab is from days past. It seems as if its just a shoddy feature and Ill just have to do it all through the main steam friends window if that works.

      MARINE CORPS ENLISTMENT OFFICE Camp Pendleton, CA   RECRUITMENT LETTER     Hello Ricky Cooper, Thank you for taking interest in joining the 1st Marine Raider Battalion.   During your trial period the following will occur: Once accepted as a Recruit, you will remain as a Recruit for 2 weeks from the day of your acceptance until the next BCT Class is offered. During your time as a recruit, it is highly encouraged to play within the Public Server and join Discord with our other members. Upon acceptance, you will be contacted by one of our DIs when the next available BCT is scheduled via the appropriate Discord channel.
