Resolved - Issue with Day of Defeat Source

Brief Description of Issue: While playing Day of Defeat Source, my screen turns black in game all of a sudden: first it looks like my computer is about to crash, then i can only see a black screen in game, while the rest of the game works still fine. To close the game I need to use the task manager and I receive an error message about an application error of the hl2.exe then. (Can be copied next time, if necessary.) When I restart the game everything works fine again as if nothing happened before. I updated my video driver just in case which wasn't really helpful.

The issue ist still there but whyever, it got less, Bradley. I'm currently verifying the integrity of the game cache. I must admid that i haven't done it yet. I'll let you know how that worked.

Aehm.... validating, not verifying Nevertheless, I completed that now. But as I wanted to safe some files, just in case a reinstallation of dods should be nessecary, I figured out that I reeeally really need to tidy up my dod folder! That's what I'm currently doing and maybe that might help already.

If verifying your game cache still hasn't fixed your issue, a re-installation of DOD:S might be in order. If you need any help backing up your custom files don't hesitate to ask myself or any of the other technicians.

I recently had a new update on my video driver and it seems that it solved that issue before had to reinstall it, so you can close the ticket i think. Thank you all for the efforts
