Anniversary

I. Turner 1st MRB

Recommended Posts

So as most of you know I was in the marine corps and today makes it 2 years since my last day on active duty and its always a bittersweet time. I love being home with family and being able to get piercings have whatever haircut I want not having to worry about crap constantly etc but on the other hand my best day as a civilian I'd easily trade for a bad day in the military . I severly miss the brotherhood we had in the infantry and constant Reliance on each other and knowing no matter what happened id always have them beside me which is a feeling I don't have nowadays with friends in my hometown. I'm still adjusting and getting things together bouncing different jobs trying to figure out what I wanna be When I grow up lol so I was wondering do any of you guys who are veterans have similar feelings or had them ? What did you do to replace it ? Thank you for reading and happy anniversary to myself lol

Hell yeah. In five months I'll be able to join you in 1st Civ Div. I can already feel that I'm going to miss my brothers, but it's getting to be that time. Semper Fidelis! Enjoy your two year parting day. Call up some old buddies or shoot a few messages if you want to reminiscence or catch up. I'm sure a lot of them feel the exact same way about you.

    • Dear Rec. S. Garrison,    Due to unforeseen circumstances with your family, and discussion with Myself, you have opted to rescind your application.     If in the future you decide to come back to the 1st Marine Raiders, we will be here.    Best of luck, and hope everything turns out for the best
