It's been so long!

Recommended Posts

Hey all. It's me ol Ssgt ascencio. I've been gone for so long and have been so busy I have not been able to keep up with forums stuff. I just wanted to say my life had been good and I'm coming up on my one year anniversary of being in the army. Crazy right? It's hard to think it's been about 11 months since I left. A lot of things have changed for me. I'm actually at Fort polk in Louisiana with the 10th mountain division. Due to me moving and spending so much time in training. I have not had a chance to bring my computer with me. But that will change soon. I should be getting my computer and have a steady Internet connection in early September. Until then I will be on the forums as much as possible. There are so many new faces and people that have gotten promoted. I miss the community and I'm glad to see that the community is still going strong and that a lot of the people I started out with are still in the unit doing good things! I'm so excited to be coming back in September and getting back to playing. Time has just flown by and so many things around me are changing. Id like to thank those of you who were behind me since day one when I set out on my journey to be a united States army cavalry scout!

My sabers. We received these after our final 12 mile ruck March. It's the mark of a true cavalry scout
