So i'm thinking about a car and i'd like to have a small 4x4 jeep which can perform well off road but do its job on normal roads to.

As every 4x4 it consumes a lot of fuel so i want it to be a gasoline injection motor, that way i could get a LPG system installed so when i go off road i can use gasoline and when i'm in city or whatever i can drive with LPG. LPG is a lot cheaper here and has huge advantages as for taxes and so...

If you guys have any other suggestions of cars then don't hesitate to reply and tell me why i should consider that one :)
My budget is about 4000 Euro / 4223 US Dollar

cheers, Boone

The Samurai is a nice vehicle, if you are looking for a more passenger friendly vehicle that can still do offroading (not rock crawling though) I would recommend the Jeep Grand Cherokee, is great on the road and I've never had issues with my '95 in offroad situations, it's 4WD has gotten me through some pretty deep mud pits when out off road in the Cascades here. I average about 18-25 MPG on gasoline and I believe you would be able to convert any of them to alternate fuel systems as they are Fuel Injected not carborated.
