Thanks Wilson. Saving up for a graphics card and a 1070 would be perfect, but they'll probably be sold out by the time I get the cash together and replaced with what look to be way more expensive 20-series cards

i built my pc a few years ago, took some parts from my previous pc..not many tho. i have  gtx 980 i would like to upgrade to the 2070 since its not that much more expensive than the 1070 maybe a few hundred i think but yea. cant upgrade much for awhile lol. my cpu is a i7 4790k

It's an Aerocool 500 which seems pretty feature laden for such a cheapo case, although I messed up and now I've got 3 motherboard screws permanently attached to the brass case risers.

 

I chucked in a tower cooler which is overkill for this 2400G apu but I want to overclock and use this system as a basis for future upgrades.

 

It's also got REVERSE GERMAN AIRFLOW based on some tests some german tech website did.

 

I dig it Gearhart, you got way better cable management and the water cooler keeps things so tidy. GTX 980 is still a very decent card from what I've read, should still be up for tackling modern games, I've seen peeps building new using used 780s

 

Building your own machine feels good, even though this is a budget computer
