A country called Chile

It has always happened to me that very few people place Chile on the map.

Few know that it is a long country, and hopefully in South America.

They are the odds of being a small country, with 19 million inhabitants, and at the end of the world, where there is nothing left.

The country is 4,200 km long, or 2,610 miles, for those who use the other system, and it is sooo narrow, at its widest part, only 400 km, 248 miles.

Chile has 16 regions, counting the capital Santiago where the executive, legislative and judicial powers operate. The rest are ordered by number, from north to south, with a tremendously marked landscape, from the desert to Patagonia, due to the length.

This is an essentially mining country, with a strong wine industry as well.

I leave you some images of iconic places.

Come when you want, you will not regret it!

I love the environment of Coastal countries of South America, and especially Chile which has mountains, lakes, hills, plains altogether and is as progressive as Brazil. Our Geography teachers always refer to Chile whenever he has to teach about '1 nation- 1 Time zone' thing since it is just, like 100km wide but stretch from north to South. Love the pictures, too.
