** The general sits in his office...

** He thinks about all his life.

** He swivels around in his chair facing the Door.

** Light gleams onto his face

General Berthold: My life... how did it get to this.

General Berthold: My wife is in Berlin.. I will never see her again. Stuck in Poland.

General Berthold: Stalag Luft XV... Its my prison. My responsibility... My hell.

General Berthold: I cannot wait for the day. Until i see her again.

** Stands up and walks over to the Window

** Looks out at the guards beating a solider

General Berthold: I have had enough.... enough of the death.

General Berthold: (Radio) You Soldiers Get that maggot in here NOW!

Soldier: (Radio) Copy Sir!

** Looks out and see the solider dragging the man

General Berthold: Why do we do this.. Why...

** Looks at her wife's picture on his desk

General Berthold: I am coming soon my darling.

** The door swings open with the Man there

General Berthold: Scum! Name and Prison ID number

** The man looks up half starved and incredibly weak he gets up from the floor

Max Albrecht: .. Si--Sir Max Albrecht Sir

General Berthold: Soldiers Leave us!

Soldier: Yes Sir!

** The Soldiers comply and walk out

General Berthold: Why did those Those Soldiers beat you?

** He looks at the General

Max Albrecht: I...i asked for some more f..ood..

Max Albrecht: I am sorry m.. my lord.

** Hits his knees and Yells

Max Albrecht: (Yells) I AM SORRY! PLEASE FORGIVE ME!

General Berthold: I don't care. I have brought you in here for a reason.

** The general looks at his profile on his desk

** Looks at the man

General Berthold: Good... Very good

Max Albrecht: Wha.. What sir

General Berthold: You live in Berlin correct?

Max Albrecht: Y..yes sir.

** Leans into his radio and Speaks

General Berthold: (Radio) Get a Armored car up here ASAP.

** Shifts over a note

General Berthold: Go to 14 Von-luck-strasse (Street Name)

General Berthold: Put the note in there. Then leave.

Max Albrecht: S..Sir why me?

General Berthold: Because you live in Berlin.. am i correct?

Max Albrecht: Y..yes?

** Max looks confused

General Berthold: I have made the preparations your ID is going to be wiped.

Max Albrecht: Th..thank you but why?

General Berthold: I am releasing you... Just you right now.

** His radio Shouds off a loud noise

(Radio) General the car is outside your office.

** Leans over and speaks into the Radio

General Berthold: Copy a prisoner is being released.

** Max Looks surprised

General Berthold: Now prisoner.. everything is in that note. Do not read it i beg of you Do not read it.

Max Albrecht: I promise you sir i will not. What will i do when i deliver the note?

General Berthold: Its up to you.

** The general smiles

Max Albrecht: I have not felt joy for along time... Thank you...

** Max smiles

General Berthold: Now leave me.. i have something i need to do before i go.

Max Albrecht: OK then sir thank you

** The general takes of his hat and places it on the desk

Max Albrecht: Goodbye

** Max opens the door and walks out and closes the door behind him

** Looks out his window and sees the Car drive outside the gates

** Some of the prisoners outside look amazed

** The general leans over to his radio

General Berthold: (Radio) All units... you are all doing a fine job here. But remember never lose what you have in your heart. Take care.

** The general turns of his radio.

** He swivels facing his flag

General Berthold: I have given out everything... For this to kill innocent people.

General Berthold: For no more i will be doing this... I will never join you my love...

General Berthold: I will be in hell for the crimes i have committed...

** Puts on his General Hat

** Takes out his Luger

General Berthold: I have forsaken my own wife... and my country... Goodbye everyone... Goodbye kids... I love you all....

** Places it in his mouth

** A tear goes down his face as he pulls the trigger..............

      MARINE CORPS ENLISTMENT OFFICE Camp Pendleton, CA   RECRUITMENT LETTER     Hello Ricky Cooper, Thank you for taking interest in joining the 1st Marine Raider Battalion.   During your trial period the following will occur: Once accepted as a Recruit, you will remain as a Recruit for 2 weeks from the day of your acceptance until the next BCT Class is offered. During your time as a recruit, it is highly encouraged to play within the Public Server and join Discord with our other members. Upon acceptance, you will be contacted by one of our DIs when the next available BCT is scheduled via the appropriate Discord channel. We have a BCT class run approximately every two weeks.  Should you have any questions you have about our unit, alternate times for your BCT, or just rules in general, you should contact our Hell Let Loose DIs: Cpl. Harding, TSgt. Muthas, WO. Belcher or CWO. Warren   Do not hesitate to reach out to our Drill Instructors for additional information. They can be reached through the Forum Private Messaging System most reliably (click the envelope next to their name above) and via Discord.   Upon stating that you understand all the information here, an admin will change your forum name and login to be :   Cooper 1st MRB   Take the time now to change your Steam and in-game name to:   Rec.
