So, I got laid off today. You may be asking yourself, "Why isn't this in the Morale Office?" The answer is that I hated and loathed that job. I went into a little bit of detail in that thread about hating jobs, and it really was abhorant. Now, I'll qualify for unemployement, and should be able to go back to school and get my Master's degree. So yeah, I'm pretty stoked.

Undergrad was in History. I would like an MA in History, but you can't do much with one of those either. I'm thinking MA in Higher Ed. and then work in colleges/universities.

well an undergrad in history sounds pretty dope but i can't imagine it has lotsa applications lol, although if you master in Higher Ed that'd be pretty dope, you could also go for like a sociollogy Masters, study the evolution of social morales/laws and the trends they follow/lead to from a historical standpoint? you know just use your degree as credibility to write awesome esoteric stuff that can't be proven, only disproven lol

Could hook you up with a job in Oil & Gas drilling industry. Long days and plenty of bull work, but you start pretty close to six figures. That plus it's 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off and if your single you could pretty much live out of suitcase touring the rest of the world in those 2 weeks throughout the year.

Unlike the others, i knew right away this was a happy thread. I've been trying to get laid off for a year. Frankly, I'd have taken getting fired. Gave up on that 2 weeks ago and told them to find a replacement so I can quit. You're a lucky bastard.
