Asking a girl I've been seeing to be Valentine dates so I can at least get an old fashion on Thursday.

Need ideas.

Serious ones preferred.

you're asking a bunch of people on the internet the right way to take a girl out so you can guarantee a minimum of a handjob?

i seriously hope this girl doesn't know about our forums, or you've already blown it....

quick tip though: don't choose any kind of greasy finger food place (a la KFC/McDonalds) because greasy food can bring out spots. judging by your post, i'm guessing you probably don't want to deal with spotty greasy balls.

i'd think you'll need to cover a few things though. food is a good one to include (can even be the date in itself) maybe some sort of distraction/entertainment (gig, movie, art gallery, robbing a bank, performing brain surgery etc) & drinks at a club/pub afterwards maybe.

i mean, the quickest way to get to your goal (legally, and i must stress the legally bit) would be to go to a party at some friend/friendofafriend's house and just get drunk and possibly stoned. it gets to a point where people just pick their preference and wake up wondering what the fuck happened and what the fuck is your name (oh my god she/he is disgusting i don't want to know what happened actually thank you very much).

But i'm guessing that if you've been seeing this girl already that the above situation is not preferable so i'd just stick with the usual. get some food, go for drinks, go to the movies whatever. usual shit. horror movies are good as long as she gets scared by them as you get the opportunity to get a bit closer and more intimate without being a creepy motherfucker :D. don't go any further than handholding/cuddling though, she'll just think you're trying to feel her up/ take advantage of her.

If you do go to a restaurant make sure to book one in advance alot of places going to be booked up, bring some flowers try to find out which ones she likes off a mate of hers? Or go watch a movie she been wanting to watch for awhile?

Valid points. I stay away from greasy food anyway, and anyone who thinks that is a romantic spot to take someone to ask them if they want to be your Valentine should be shot.

Yeah Cast I was thinking about just buying some flowers and than asking her. Thing is we just had a talk tonight about how I don't take anything seriously so I wanted to do something over the top.

And as for Takel stating the fact I'm asking you guys on this forum, I did it because I am expecting 9/10 replies to be hilariously stupid response.

Keep the ideas rolling.

Get her some flowers. I recomend Forget-me-Nots, they are a very pretty looking flowers and not completly generic like roses. However, you can use flower language to express your feelings. Just read the article here: http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Language_of_flowers#section_2

Don't excpect a lot though. Flowers will only go so far.

This was my dads idea. Invite her over and leave the door open. Lay roses from the door to your bedroom. when she walks in she will see you laying there naked with a box of chocolate covering your dong. Of couse when she opens the box it wont be chocolate..... yeah thats from my dad...

First: Dinner.

It's most likely too late to make reservations somewhere. Invite her over and cook her something that you know she will like. She will appreciate the effort that you made.

Second: candles.

Light some candles. That shit is romantic and sets the mood immediately.

Third: Flowers.

If you are able to pick her up AND drop her off have flowers for her at your place that she can take home with her. If you are picking her up but she is getting herself home, bring flowers with you and leave them at her house.

Finally: Gifts.

Valentines Day isn't about spending money on presents (or at least it shouldn't be). It is about spending time with someone you care about and is a reminder of how much you care about each other. "Taking things seriously" isn't about going over the top, it's about being heartfelt, open and honest.
