Gotta love those CANSOFCOM soldiers. Great vid released by the Canadian government for these guys. Of course, I expect haters to reply with ignorant comments which will turn into a biggest dick contest instead of just giving these guys some credit for what they do.

If you ask anyone from any military in the world who have fought alongside a Canadian soldier they'll tell you nothing but good things about them and how good they really are. Although we may have a small military, our record in WWI, WWII, Korea, and Afghanistan puts to rest any petty little comments made by ignorant individuals with no experience fighting with Canadian soldiers. The size of our military may be a joke, but the Canadian soldiers themselves are highly professional and extremely well trained. They are an elite force.

Great video, makes me proud to be Canadian.

I fought alongside a Canadian once, he allowed me to sacrifice myself with a bazooka because he was too much of a coward to clear the building. It was 2011, in a place called Kolsch. His name was Benjamin Parker.

however, i'm pretty sure I saw one or two of them sporting the Hadfield in that video, so just goes to show that even SOF want to be astronauts

Yep, totally true. The level of competition to be an infantry soldier is higher than many nations' officer programs, because we have such a small army, yet plenty of people want to join. We get to pick the best of the best to be part of our armed forces.

There are a few things you should know before I give you a date for Basic Combat Training (BCT). Firstly, you are restricted to the weapon class of Rifleman for the duration of your time as a Recruit. Secondly, any questions you have about our unit, alternate times for your BCT, or just rules in general, you should contact your drill instructors GySgt. R. Fielding, 1stSgt. J. Candy, CWO. A.
