Type of issue: (Software, Hardware, Steam, Not sure) Pretty sure it's Software

Brief Description of Issue: The windows on my computer will randomly minimize and send me to the desktop. It has done this for a long long time. The worst offender, is Skyrim. For when I reopen the game, the computer's cursor will stay on screen along with the Skyrim cursor. They don't even line up. I have been meaning to post this for a while now.

I just did the Alt+F4 method. Hopefully that fixed it. IDK if there's a way to check other than waiting till it does it again. I'll just sit AFK on Skyrim and wait, I guess

Did you find out what program stole focus?  If you just exited the program, it might be "solved" until the next time that program launches.

Process Monitor is the program you'll have to download: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896645

 

When using Process Monitor, go to the Filter menu and add the following filter: "Operation is not Process Exit" then Exclude. (found here)

 

It's a pretty overwhelming program if you're not sure what you're doing, so it's up to you if you want to try it.  Depends on how bad the issue is for you, I guess.
