So me, marsden and Morton where n Stary and we got teleported by a hacker. Me and marsden died and Morton is alive but is like 10 k from the maps edge. I'm in Balota now and if I can tonight ill make my way back east probably head to Cherno to get a map and then north to meet up with everyone. Also I played Panthera and I ran up to a guy a d hatcheted his face off. McDowell was in vent when it happened and I yelled at the guy lol it we funny but my leg broke and I respawned

So I got dayz finally, and trying to play it. Was wondering if any of you might be able to help me out. I got this Play withSIX launcher whatever it is, I've installed arma2 and arrowhead, done the little install/update on this launcher, but I still cannot join any servers, keeps saying I "You cannot play/edit this mission, it is dependent on downloadable content that has been deleted.dayz_code, dayz_weapons, dayz_equip etc.'upon joining any DayZ server." and some other shit, but hoping one of you know how to fix this? D:

Also, I've been trying to look into the problem, but every website they post as a possible fix is "not found" is something wrong with my computer? or are the links actually bad?

the problem you are having is that you are starting the game up as vanilla (dayz not enabled). I would suggest using DayZ Commander until play withsix sorts their shit out. has a server browser, downloads for the mod (updated very quickly after dayz update) and for the extra maps and is pretty simple to use. it also launches the mod for you properly (double click a server to join it)

have a character alive and decently loaded on a private hive server (us 2491) just outside of cherno with a tent waiting to set it up and another in public play that has a sniper rifle and one murder thus far; thats right i killed someone finally, guy was trying to snipe me while i was setting up outside of cherno so i ran up and put the barrel of my rifle on his forhead lol

idk why erryone so obsessed with dayz commander; i use six and have no probs at all. run the sixupdater to ensure your launcher is up to date and then launch the game from the six launcher; you just select verify/update first; then select either launch or join on a server in the list
